Ashburn Hill Plantation is located just 3 miles from downtown Moultrie and consists of 472.8+/- acres. It is extremely diverse and includes both irrigated and unirrigated agricultural fields, mature longleaf pine stands, and the historic hunting lodge. Ashburn Hill has been a commercial quail hunting site for more than 40 years.
The historic Moultrie train depot is a great venue for entertainment and events. Four guest lodges are available to accommodate hunters. This southern charm makes it an ideal location for weddings and corporate retreats as well as family reunions. Take a step back in time to see the restored train depot.

MACK J. MCCORMICK PARK
Mack J. McCormick Park has been renovated since 2020. It features a half-circle basketball court and a geometric climbing dome. There is also a rocking forog, seesaw, and swing set.
OCHLOCKONEE RIDGE FARMS
Ochlockonee Ridge Farms, a family farm, grows a variety crops. Their strawberry crop is available from mid-March through early May.

REED BINGHAM STATE PARK
The popular recreation area of Reed Bingham State Park lies between the counties lines of Colquitt & Cook Counties. The park covers 1,620 acres and includes a lake of 375 acres, a nature trail that runs 3.5 miles, which includes a pitcher plant swamp and other habitats typical of South Georgia. The public can use the park’s campgrounds, areas for fishing, boating and swimming as well as a mini golf course. To explore this lake, paddlers can rent kayaks or canoes.
Guided pontoon boat tours can sometimes be offered during events. For parties, reunions and other celebrations, the beachside pavilion, picnic shelters, or group shelters can be used as scenic spots. Reed Bingham is located less than six miles away from I-75 making it a pleasant stopover for travelers. It is named after Amos Reed Bingham who helped establish the park.

TOM WHITE LINEAR BIKE TRAIL
There are 7.2 miles worth of trails for joggers, walkers, and cyclists that run from Downtown Moultrie to the community’s airport. The linear park was created as part of “Rails to Trails”. It replaces the old railroad tracks. This makes it a beautiful route for walking and biking enthusiasts of all ages.
United Way Born Learning Trail, a new trail addition, covers 200 square meters. Track with stations for toddlers and parents to enhance interaction and education skills. You can find trail signage in English or Spanish.
