Understanding of Traffic Safety

Despite the fact that Abu Dhabi is a well developed city with excellent road infrastructure, it is always important to take the typical safety measures when driving or crossing roads, such adhering to speed limits, using seatbelts, and paying attention to pedestrian crossings.

Is alcohol permitted in Abu Dhabi?

If you want to drink, you should have no trouble enjoying a few cocktails by the pool or a bottle of wine in the resort’s restaurant. But be advised that alcohol cannot be drank outside of hotels and that it is unlawful to consume alcohol in public.

Are there any clothing codes One should follow when visiting Abu Dhabi for a vacation?

Since Abu Dhabi is a Muslim city, it is always good to observe local norms and dress modestly, especially during Ramadan (which varies yearly, so it’s essential to verify before you arrive). Even if other visitors appear to be from sunny Spain, it’s a good idea to follow suit and dress appropriately, especially while you’re not in your resort. Locals will also give you a friendlier welcome!

Health and Secure Eating

Throughout the summer, visitors should protect themselves from the severe heat and maintain good hydration. To further prevent food-related diseases, it is strongly advised to eat at approved restaurants or stay in respectable motels.
In connection with that, visitors and locals in Abu Dhabi may count on more creative solutions for convenience and safety, particularly in industries like real estate, given the city’s superior systems and growing technological base. Platforms like as Realiste, for example, provide AI-driven information about real estate investments in the area and assist people in making educated, safe selections.

Refrain from making public shows of affection

It’s a good idea to avoid making public demonstrations of affection. This implies that you should use caution when interacting in public if you are traveling with your significant other.

Avoid taking pictures without people’s permission

Although you shouldn’t do this in the first place, it’s crucial that you never take pictures of individuals without their knowledge or agreement, and you should never share them on social media. In Abu Dhabi, this is an offense that has legal penalties.

Avoid smoking electronic cigarettes

As they are prohibited in the United Arab Emirates, you should leave yours at home to avoid having them seized upon entering the nation.

What attire is appropriate while visiting Abu Dhabi

  1. Women

Women should wear loose attire that covers their knees and shoulders, saving their best swimwear for the beach and hotel pool.
Outside of your resort, you should also refrain from dressing in skimpy or tight apparel, such as spaghetti strap shirts, shorts with cutoffs, or leggings. In addition, we advise you to bring a lightweight scarf or shawl with you outside the resort so you may cover yourself if necessary, particularly if you’re visiting a place of worship.

  1. Men

Even in the hottest months of the year, guys in Abu Dhabi usually wear full-length pants, therefore it’s advised that you adopt this look when visiting. You should wear some light-colored chinos when you step outside your resort. Alternatively, if giving up your shorts is too much to handle, just make sure they reach your knees.
Leaving your shirt on when you’re not inside the hotel is also a smart idea. No matter how hot it gets, males are not allowed to go about in the UAE with their tops off, unlike most other European tourist locations. It’s time to accept your t-shirt tan!
