Mrs. Bahl, herself an Arts graduate and practicing artist, conducted a meeting at the work station near Degree College Kargil with Team Stringmo. During the meeting, she discussed the training and experiences of the team, emphasizing the importance of art in empowering individuals.
As part of her commitment, Mrs. Roma Bahl has decided to conduct two art classes per week, focusing on various forms of art with a professional intent. The goal is to enable the young girls to earn from their artistic skills, contributing to their self-reliance.
During the meeting, Mentor of Young Artists of Kargil, Sajjad Hussain Bob, shared the remarkable history of Team Stringmo, highlighting their journey and achievements. Mrs. Bahl expressed her admiration for the team’s dedication and decided to extend her support for their continued growth.
Notably, Mrs. Bahl was deeply impressed by the extraordinary skills of Nasreen Fatima, a specially-abled girl child who is deaf and dumb. Despite her challenges, Nasreen’s artistic abilities stood out, capturing Mrs. Bahl’s attention.
Kaneez Fatima, the Team Leader of Stringmo, expressed gratitude towards Mrs. Roma Bahl for her initiative and the ongoing support from the Indian Army.
