Report on the best livable cities by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU)

The EIU report introspective 173 cities using 30 indicators divided into various categories such as safety, health, culture, environment, education and housing development, and then put them on a 100-point scale. The motive is to Show how these cities live.  

Vienna, Austria

Vienna, Austria—a city renowned for its unparalleled fusion of vital public services and cultural diversity—takes the top spot for the third year in a row as the world’s greatest place to live.

“Due to the lack of significant athletic events, Vienna’s score for culture and environment was a less-than-perfect 93.5 this year, but it still received perfect scores (of 100) for four of the five categories.”

Denmark’s Copenhagen

Denmark’s Copenhagen has retained the second position among the 173 cities. It is the capital of Denmark which is famous for its canals, vibrant architecture, and well-known sites including Amalienborg Palace, Tivoli Gardens, and The Little Mermaid statue.

Its culinary scene, which has mouth watering pastries, beer brewers, and the greatest number of Michelin-starred restaurants in the world.

its literature, culture, and history are linked to Hans Christian Andersen, the Danish language, and Scandinavian style and design.

Its distinction as the greenest city on Earth and its ecological attitude make it simple to navigate on foot or by bicycle.

Switzerland’s Zurich

Zurich has moved to the third place from sixth place.  It is known as the finance capital of Switzerland because it has the least tax among the world. Calgary, Canada and Geneva, Switzerland

The fifth position in the list has been occupied by two cities that are Calgary in Canada and Geneva in Switzerland. There are so many things to do in these cities.

Calgary

In Alberta, Western Canada, Calgary is the largest city. As such, it is the location of some of the province’s top tourist attractions. Because of the diversity of cultures who call Calgary home, landmarks have a rich history. Parks and museums that showcase historical artifacts serve as examples of this. Geneva

Geneva is well-known for its multicultural appeal and serves as the home base for numerous multinational corporations and organizations. In addition to its magnificent Alpine surroundings, Geneva is renowned for its brilliance in other disciplines such as banking and cuisine.
