Indonesian Fusion Food

The fusion concept gave birth to more innovations at a number of contemporary restaurants across Indonesia. With the passage of time and emergence of tourism in Indonesia the demand for fusion food has increased manifold. In an industry that is always hungry for new ideas, fusion food has become trendy in the food and beverage (F&B) fraternity in Indonesia. This country is famous for food diversity beyond reasonable doubts. So here is the explosion of Indonesian fusion food:

Today, fusion food is popular because it offers culinary adventures based on unique and distinctive tastes, bringing more color to mainstream culinary culture. The fusion food also helps to satiate the demands of ever increasing tourism in this country. Amid the popularity of fusion food, Indonesian local cuisine has also been able to keep up its popularity and demand. Hence, Indonesia with it’s food diversity is correctly called – A Place Of Gastronomical Delight.

Eggplant Balls

This is eggplant balls. It is made from boiled eggplant, egg, bread crumb, garlic, spring onion, maizena, sagoo, ground chicken, salt, sugar, and pepper. Suitable as an appetizer and makes a perfect combination with mixed soup.

Fried Carp with Sweet and Sour Sauce

Fried Carp with sweet and sour sauce:

It is made from fried Carp with added chili, lemon juice, pineapple, sugar, salt, tomato sauce, spring onion, bell pepper, and other ingredients. It is a main course dish.

This fusion is a fusion of Sino-Indonesian food. Mixed with sesame oil, garlic, and some ingredients to produce a good smell and aromatic dish.

Vegetables and Fruit Salad with Coconut Mayo Sauces:

The ingredients and preparation of this dish is really simple, an instant preparation. You just need yam, cucumber, carrot, pineapple, hard boiled egg and lettuce. For the sauce, just mix coconut milk, mayo, salt, chili powder, sugar and  blackpepper.

Egg Tofu

Egg Tofu, this dish is really light on the stomach. The dish is prepared from egg mixed with tofu and then fried. To make the sauce,  you can roast  peanut then mixed with brown sugar, salt, and chili. But if you don’t like chili you can skip it.
