The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has expanded its prijava.ba digital tourist-registration platform to all ten cantons, digitizing guest check-in and check-out to manage the country's 1.8 million first-half overnight stays.

The rollout was completed in stages. In October 2025, the web application was operational across six cantons, while representatives from Posavina, Bosnian Podrinje, and West Herzegovina cantons prepared for integration. By February 16, 2026, the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism confirmed that the remaining four cantons had successfully joined, bringing all ten cantons of the Federation under a unified digital reporting framework.

Foreign visitors generated 68.4% of all overnight stays during this six-month period, while domestic guests accounted for 31.6%. Commercial hotels and similar establishments remained the dominant accommodation choice, hosting 94.4% of all stays (1,717,514 nights). In terms of source markets, Croatia led foreign stays with 19.3%, followed by Serbia (14.2%), Turkey (8.5%), Slovenia (6.8%), Germany (4.6%), the United States (3.7%), and Montenegro and China (3.1% each).
