You can wade in the shallow waters, and go fishing, kayaking, or wakeboarding without having to worry about strong waves.

You may be able to spot alligators and bird nests so make sure to look out for red flags. If you’re a history buff, head to Fort Massachusetts, a well-preserved Civil War Fort.
