Day 01: Arrive Pathankot – Palampur (115 kms/ 4 hrs)
Arrive Pathankot railway station. Pick up and travel to Palampur by surface. Palampur is well known for its tea gardens and the beautiful landscapes. On reaching check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Palampur.
Day 02: Palampur (Local Visits) – Bir
After breakfast start the tour by visiting Jakhni Mata Temple the holy shrine at a distance of 6 Kms from Palampur, Tashi Jong monastery an abode of tibetian refugees and a prominent place of reverence for Buddhists. Later, head for Andretta art gallery which is the home of the famous artist, Late Sardar Shobha Singh and play writer Late Norah Richards. Continue with drive to Baijnath temple depicting the rich Indian heritage. Splendid architectural designs and carvings on the temple are believed to be associated with Ravana, who worshipped Lord Shiva at this spot and gained immortality. Also pay visit to Sherabling monastery which is the seat of the XIIth Kenting Tai Situpa in India. After sightseeing proceed for Bir where you will check in at your pre booked accommodation. Overnight stay at a hotel in Bir.
Day 03: Bir – Billing – Bir
This morning after breakfast leave for Bir to experience paragliding from one of the best and highest flying spots in the world. Bir – Billing is a very popular place for adventure lovers who wish to indulge themselves in camping, paragliding, and trekking. Bir village has a strong Buddhist essence and also houses a Tibetan monastery. Return back to Bir after activities. Remaining day free for independent activities. Overnight stay at a hotel in Bir.
Day 04: Bir – Barot (55 kms/ 2 hrs)
After breakfast leave for Barot Valley. Explore the famous Shanan hydroelectric project which was built during the British period. Subsequently, also get the chance to see the nearby herbal farming and do not miss an opportunity to taste the famous trout fish from the Uhl river. Overnight stay at hotel in Barot
Day 05: Barot – Pathankot (115 kms/ 4 hrs)
After breakfast, in time transfer to Pathankot railway station to board your train for onward journey. End of our services!
