Monrovia Historical Museum
The Monrovia Historical Museum is located in an historic 1925 Spanish-style building. It was once the City’s municipal plunge, now referred to simply as a public swimming pool. It includes exhibits about Monrovia’s history, 1900s life, and Monrovia’s contributions to World Wars I and II. The Museum currently houses over 10,000 artifacts. Many of these are displayed!

Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area
The Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, located in Irwindale in California, USA in the San Gabriel Valley, is a county park. It is within the Santa Fe Dam. The park and dam are located among the gravel quarries of the area, many which are inactive. The dam is a flood control dam on the San Gabriel River. Most of the time, the dam works as a dry dam. The San Gabriels are the most prolific mountain for producing gravel. The Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation manages the park.

Santa Anita Dam (also known as Big Santa Anita Dam) is a concrete thin-arch dam that sits on Santa Anita Creek, in the San Gabriel Mountains, Los Angeles County, California. The dam is owned by the Los Angeles County Flood Control District and serves flood control, water conservation, and debris control. The dam measures 225 feet in height and 612 feet in length. It holds 858 acres of water, with a maximum of 1,028 acres. The dam’s catchment area is 10.8 square miles.
