Peachtree city is 20 miles southwest from Atlanta. It's easily accessible via Interstate 75 or 85. The community is connected to Fulton, Coweta, and Clayton Counties by State Highways 54 & 74. Express commuter bus and/or train service is available just outside of Peachtree City and across the metro area, and many have direct-to-Midtown/Downtown routes.

Jones Bridge Park

Jones Bridge Park is named after the Chattahoochee River bridge that was partially lost. It covers a little more than 12 hectares. It also includes a picnic pavilion as well as a fishing area that overlooks the river.
The park’s most notable feature is its riverside location. This park also serves as the trailhead for the Jones Bridge Park hiking trail that loops around the area. It is five miles long. Deer, along with the numerous game fish that live in the river, are best seen on the trail in the morning.

Veterans Monument
To symbolize the US military’s actions around the globe, the central sculpture is an American Eagle resting on top a globe.
Peachtree Corner’s Veterans Monument was unveiled to the public during the summer of 2019. It can be found in Town Green in the city centre. It is a public space measuring 750m2 and supported by seven bronze sculptures on stone pedestals.
Six life-sized figures representing each component of the US military reserve and regular forces are placed to either side. The bricks and benches provide a thoughtful way to reflect on the US’ role in the world. They are engraved with names and battles of military personnel.
The monument has two interactive terminals that provide additional information about each component.

R Alexander Fine Art and Sculpture Garden
It is filled with paintings and sculptures from established and emerging artists, as well as many Atlanta-based artists.

It is directly across from the Jones Bridge unit in the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.
Simpsonwood Park was named after Ludie Simpson, who donated the land for the Methodist Church. This Gwinnett County park borders on the Chattahoochee River.
There are approximately 5 miles of trails that are unpaved, with a 3-mile loop trail. The Methodist Church no longer owns the park land, but the chapel can still be rented out for events.

Southeastern Railway Museum
The museum is approximately ten minutes away from Peachtree Corners, an Atlanta suburb called Duluth.
The Southeastern Railway Museum is open to all levels of railway enthusiasts. The museum, which covers a 12-hectare area, was founded in 1970 and displays nearly 100 pieces of railroad stock and engineering.
It is Georgia’s official transportation museum and also houses a growing collection vehicles and items from other types of historic transport. The museum displays the Duluth passenger depot that dates back to 1871, steam engines and Pullman passenger cars.
