Brookhaven is home to one of the oldest juried crafts and fine arts festivals in the country. Over 140 artists are represented at the Brookhaven Arts Festival. There will also be food and drink, a vintage car display, live music and arts activities for all ages. Cherry Blossom Festival is the premier springtime festival.

It’s located about 5 miles from the I-285 corridor, just north of Buckhead. This exciting 2-day event features a juried art show featuring over 140 artists, live music, food, and beverages, and a classic car show.

Brookhaven Arts Festival was started by a few volunteers in 2004. It now attracts between 8,000 to 12,000 visitors from all over the region. Brookhaven Community Foundation is a non-profit organization that produces the Brookhaven Arts Festival.

Peachtree Creek Greenway

It is a multi-use, paved trail measuring 4m wide and extending for nearly 12.5 miles.

The Peachtree creek Greenway was created in 1999 to accommodate the new millennium. The trail connects with the Atlanta BeltLine in the south and Doraville at the northern end. It crosses Brookhaven on the way.

The greenway is open to cyclists, runners, joggers, and dog-walkers throughout the year. The greenway was created to remove 200 tires that had been dumped and large quantities of trash. This is something you can’t imagine when you look at it today.
