Fans of Alabama, Florida State (FSU), Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan, and Ohio State will score touchdowns with these new routes. The University of Notre Dame’s beloved hometown of South Bend, Indiana (SBN), has seen a notable rise in the number of flights operated there. With point-to-point service that eliminates layovers, these routes offer convenience and make it simpler than ever to go right to the action.
American Airlines is providing a special benefit to its loyalty clients in a one-of-a-kind promotion. Tickets for these new college routes can only be purchased using frequent flyer points and are only available to American AAdvantage members until June 17. As a reward for being a devoted client, early access to these in-demand flights lets them guarantee their seats. “This means that being an AAdvantage member is even more special, as you can use your miles to book early access on popular flights to cheer on your favorite teams this fall,” American Airlines said in a statement to Travel & Leisure. The entire public will be able to purchase the tickets when the early access period concludes.
In an effort to add to the excitement on game day, Delta Air Lines is also introducing special flights for the best college football games. Among the important games that fans should not miss are the Florida vs. Texas match on November 9 and the LSU vs. USC matchup in Las Vegas on September 1.ESPN reports an increase in interest in college football, demonstrating the contagious excitement for the sport. This year’s College Football National Championship attracted over 25 million viewers, the most since 2019.
